A fire destroyed a Milo home early Friday morning.
The fire was reported about 5:11 a.m., and by the time firefighters arrived, flames had extended to the roof of the two-story single-family home, according to Maj. Aaron Turcotte, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Both people living there got out safely.
While investigators believe the fire began in the second-floor bathroom, the cause of the fire remains unknown because of the extent of the damage.
