A Winslow man was killed Thursday morning when he collided with a commercial truck in Augusta.
Cameron Lafleche, 29, was driving a 2004 Toyota Camry on Route 3, between West River Road and the Interstate 95 roundabouts, about 5:53 a.m. when he collided with a 2024 Kenworth T880 driven by 29-year-old Christopher Armstrong of Washington, according to Augusta Police Chief Kevin Lully.
Lafleche died at the scene.
The crash shut down the I-95 roundabouts and prompted police to advise drivers heading to MaineGeneral Medical Center and other locations in that area of Route 3 to seek alternative routes.
The crash remains under investigation.
