A 37-year-old man from Lisbon was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting outside a Lewiston tavern early Wednesday morning.

Travis Hunter died of a gunshot wound to the chest, an autopsy by the state medical examiner found, Maine State Police announced Friday afternoon.

Hunter was one of two people shot outside the Blue Goose Tavern at 69 Sabattus St. A woman was treated and later released, police said.

Police previously said the man who fired the shots has been identified and is cooperating with law enforcement. His name has not been released.
