BANGOR — ConvenientMD Primary Care is pleased to welcome Raghu Kanumalla, DO, to its Bangor primary care location, expanding the practice and providing greater access to timely primary care services for people in the region.
“We know there is a significant need for primary care services in Bangor and surrounding areas, which is why growing our Bangor practice is so important,” ConvenientMD President of Advanced Primary Care Kevin Curwick said. “The addition of Dr. Kanumalla will ensure more Bangor area residents will have access to the care they need and we’re excited to have him on our team.”
Kanumalla has been practicing medicine since 2022, is board certified in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) and treats patients of all ages. His expertise is in treating hypertension, high blood pressure, anemia, diabetes and other conditions. Prior to joining ConvenientMD Primary Care, he worked in family medicine for Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, where he completed his family medicine residency. He earned a master’s degree in mathematics with specialization in biomathematics from Florida State University. He also earned a master’s degree in public health and a doctorate degree in Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University – College of Graduate Health Studies in Mesa, Arizona and Kirksville, Missouri.
