Firefighters battled an oven fire Tuesday evening at LaBree’s Bakery in Old Town.
The fire broke out in one of LaBree’s oven lines about 4:50 p.m. at the Gilman Falls Avenue bakery, according to Fire Chief Kyle Milan.
Employees tried to put out the blaze but heavy smoke forced everyone to evacuate, Milan said Wednesday morning.
Despite contending with heavy smoke, firefighters got the flames under control within five minutes.
No one was injured in the blaze.
