There will be no parking on these downtown Bangor streets on Wednesday evening.
That was supposed to happen Monday evening, but the city delayed the work two days because of rain.
The parking ban will allow crews to paint street lines and markings, according to the city.
Crews will be working on the portion of Hammond and State streets from Mexicali Blues across Kenduskeag Stream to the intersection with Harlow and Exchange streets.
Workers will then be painting Harlow Street to City Hall before working down Central Street to where it intersects with Hammond Street.
That work will require closing the streets to parking from 7-10 p.m.
