Police seized drugs during a raid earlier this month at a home and motorcycle repair shop in Hancock.

John Crawford, 60, of Hancock has been charged with aggravated drug trafficking; Jonathan Sprague, 29, of Milbridge has been charged with unlawful drug possession and violation of his conditions of release; and Matthew Crabtree, 33, of Ellsworth has been charged with violation of his conditions of release, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Police raided a Franklin Road home and adjacent motorcycle repair business, Hancock Cycle, on June 3 after a monthlong investigation into drug trafficking out of that address, the agency said Tuesday.

During the raid, police seized more than 8 ounces of crack cocaine, 2.7 ounces of fentanyl, 0.4 ounces of methamphetamine and 0.2 ounces of cocaine, along with four guns. The drugs were worth an estimated $30,000, according to the MDEA.

Sprague and Crabtree were arrested during the raid, but the property owner, Crawford, wasn’t found until Monday when a sheriff’s deputy arrested him.

He was taken to the Hancock County Jail in Ellsworth, where he was being held on $10,000 bail.

More arrests are possible as the investigation proceeds.
