Sawyer Loftus is an investigative reporter at the Bangor Daily News. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Sawyer grew up in Vermont where he worked for Vermont Public Radio, The Burlington Free Press and VTDigger. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Vermont Cynic, UVM’s independent student newspaper.

If the facility is liquidated, it would mean the loss $100 million in private and public funds invested altogether so far.
