CORINNA – Marcia (Schillinger) Church, 71, passed away peacefully Sept. 10, 2008, surrounded by her family at a Bangor hospital after a brief period of ill health. She was born May 19, 1937, in Claremont, N.H., along with her twin sister, Martha, who predeceased her in June 1994. She was the daughter of Leo and Mary (Torlish) Schillinger. Marcia graduated from Corinna Union Academy and worked for many years at Eastland Woolen Mill, Corinna, retiring from Dexter Shoe Co. In 1974 she married Maynard Church and together they lived in her lifelong home on Bond Road, Corinna. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kelli and husband, Ron Richardson, of Corinna; a half sister, Alberta Fuller of Melbourne, Fla.; granddaughters, Amanda Perry Stitham and husband, Erik, and their children, Joshua, Julia and Nicolas of Newport, and Morgan Perry of Corinna; a grandson, Ron Jr. and wife, Jessie Richardson, and their children, Parker, Harley and Olivia; and a nephew, Donald Bragg and wife, Lisa, and their son, Jason, of Old Town. She will be fondly remembered by friends, Marion Sinclair, the Liberty family, Paul and Irene Savage and Carroll and Marge Downs. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside committal service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the home of Kelli and Ron.
