EAST HARTFORD, Conn. Gerard Angelo Levesque, 69, went to be with our Lord Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at his home. Born Nov. 7, 1938, in Grand Isle, he was a son of the late Lawrence G. and Celina (Dumond) Levesque. He had resided in the East Hartford, Conn., area for more than 50 years. Gerard was a proud graduate of the American School for the Deaf, West Hartford, Conn., and would enjoy reading and animals. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 34 years by the former Cushman Industry, Hartford, Conn. Gerard is survived by his two brothers, Patrick M. Levesque and his wife, Eva, of Finksbury, Md., and Eugene F. Levesque and his wife, Janice, of Coventry, Conn.; his sister, Germaine G. Beaulieu of Newburg; a nephew, Michael Levesque of Finksbury, Md.; a niece, Peggy Ann Beaulieu of Maine; two stepnephews, Jesse Greika of San Diego and Christopher Greika of North Haven, Conn.; several neighbors and former co-workers. Honoring Gerard’s wishes, funeral services and burial will be privately held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
