MANCHESTER, N.H. – Donald Ranney, 52, died Sept. 10, 2008, at his residence after a lengthy illness. Donald was the son of Milly and the late James P. Ranney. He attended Bangor schools, graduating from Bangor High School in 1975. Donald was a member of Boy Scouts of America, attaining many high honors. He served in the U.S. Army for seven years, most of his tour of duty in Germany. He is survived by his mother, Milly; his wife, Gabrielle; daughter, Christine; son, Fred; grandchildren, Kirsten, Kalie and Brenden; sister, Clare Harris; many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his birth siblings; sisters, Deanna Drew and Cathy Warzocha, and brother, Vance Tripp. Funeral services were held at the New Hampshire Veterans’ Cemetery.
