EASTPORT – Aaron Fred Settipani, 41, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008. Aaron was born May 9, 1966, in Gloucester, Mass., son of Anthony Settipani and Roberta Souza Gardner. After graduating from Shead High School, Eastport, Aaron attended Roger Williams University, Rhode Island. Aaron served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear technician on submarines. Then he returned to East-port to help care for his maternal grandparents. Aaron was employed as a dispatcher for Calais Police Department for several years, and owned and operated his own business called Computer Crazy. Aaron loved living in Maine, spending most of his time at the ocean and the outdoors. He enjoyed four wheeling in his Jeep Wrangler, photography, kayaking, camping and hiking. Aaron was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Charlotte Souza; and his paternal grandparents, John and Rose Settipani. Surviving are his father, Anthony Settipani and his wife, Marcia, of Gloucester, Mass.; his mother, Roberta Gardner and her husband, Lee, of Fairview, Ohio; four sisters, Shelby Gray of Piedmont, Ohio, Rachael Will-ard of Columbus, Ohio, Allissa Gardner of Byesville, Ohio, and Maggie Towne of Gloucester, Mass.; three brothers, Jared Settipani of Leesburg, Va., Mac Settipani of Gloucester, Mass., and Trevor Gardner of Fair-view, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Samantha Campbell, Zachary Morris, and Leah Gardner, all of Ohio, Griffin and Sawyer Towne of Gloucester, Mass., and Natalia and Naiomi Settipani of Leesburg, Va.; and his faithful canine companion, Coco. Per Aaron’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais and Eastport.
