SAUGUS, Mass. and CHERRYFIELD – Mr. Alan D. Gray, 49, of Allard Street, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 6, 2004, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. He was born in Jonesport and raised in Cherryfield, the son of Elestine (Galen) Gray and the late Alton Gray. He was the husband of Lisa G. (Slaughter) Gray. Mr. Gray was employed as a machinist with Wakefield Engineering in Wakefield, Mass. for 15 years. He has resided in Saugus, Mass., since 1984. In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves one son, Justine Gray of Saugus, Mass.; two daughters, Courtney Gray and Lindsay Gray of Saugus, Mass.; one sister, Shelley Gray of Cherryfield. He was predeceased by his brother, Clarence Gray. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the Church Hill Cemetery, Ridge Road, Addison.
