HOULTON – Alan R. Bulley, 44, died unexpectedly March 13, 2007. He was born June 28, 1962, in Houlton, the son of Richard and Lois Ann (Cassidy) Bulley. Alan attended Houlton schools and was a graduate of Houlton High School, Class of 1981. After graduation, he went to work for Andy Marino, bagging groceries at the Houlton Foodliner and working into a manager’s position at Andy’s IGA. For the past six years, he had been employed at Natural Potatoes, Mars Hill. Alan had a great love of the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing. He is survived by his father, Richard “Dick” Bulley of Houlton; three sons, Jason and Christopher of Virginia Beach, Va., and Alex of Littleton; his siblings, Jean Fitzpatrick and her husband, Bernard, of Houlton, Susan Hodgdon and her husband, Mike, of Seal Cove, John Bulley and his wife, Susan, Arnold Bulley and his wife, Emily, all of Houlton, Tony Bulley and his wife, Diane, of Bangor and Amber Bulley of Houlton. He is also survived by Alex’s mother and his companion, Heather Sewell and her daughter, Shanisha, both of Littleton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Lois in 2005. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Straubel officiating.
