PENOBSCOT and ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Alexander Phillips, 64, passed away Aug. 14, 2005, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Ellen, of 40 years; four children, Lori, Brian, Diane and Janet; a brother, Dale Phillips of Blue Hill; a sister, Irene Phillips Tuft and her husband, Tim, of Hancock; a brother-in-law, Dwight Smith of Dedham; several grand-children, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Elsie Phillips Smith and Noreen Phillips Maynard. A private family service will be held at a later date.
