BANGOR and BREWER Allyn C. “Bud” McEachern, 92, died June 10, 2007, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born April 23, 1915, in Greenville Junction, the son of George and Bernice (Parke) McEachern. Bud was president of Norman E. Whitney, Inc., a member of the Bangor Noon Kiwanis Club, past president and past lieutenant governor of Kiwanis Division No. 25, director of Maine Merchants Association, member of St. Andrews Lodge No. 83 AF & AM, Bangor; Scottish Rite Bodies Valley, Bangor; Maine Consistory 32 degree, Anah Shriners, Bangor. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna (Champagne) Mc-Eachern of Bangor; three sons and their wives, Robert and Susan of Wellesley, Mass., Paul and Virginia of Natick, Mass., and Steven and Susan of Ellsworth; two daughters and their husbands, Lillian and Angelo Zanchi of Bangor and Janet and Richmond Nye of Escondido, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children; two sisters, Mary McAfee of Greenville and Joyce Brown of Monson; one brother, Clinton McEachern of Holliston, Mass.; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held noon Wednesday, June 13, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson officiating. Interment will be immediately after at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, after the interment.
