BANGOR – Mrs. Alphia “Fay” B. Johnson, 87, of 142 Pearl St., died Feb. 20, 2004, at a local Bangor hospital. She was born in Rockford, Ill., May 9, 1916, the daughter of Joseph and Vingenza (Bonnonno) Oliverie. Fay was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor. She is survived by two nephews, Joseph Cozza, of Schenectady, N.Y., Marvin Liebergot of Eastern Springs, Tenn.; two nieces, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Pulley of Roslyn, Pa. and Mrs. Richard (Denise) Flanagan of Hyde Park, N.Y. She is also survived by a longtime dear friend, Ruth Gagnon of Bangor. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Johnson. Services will be held in the Chapel of the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta, at a time to be announced by the Greenlawn Funeral Home, Bangor.
