SANGERVILLE – Alton A. Carle, 69, died May 16, 2006, at his home. He was born Nov. 2, 1936, in Sangerville, the son of Milton and Avis (Shields) Carle. He worked in the woods for several years and then worked for Hardwood Products Co. in Guilford for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved watching the Red Sox and NASCAR races. He is survived by his wife, Judith (Dulac) Carle; a daughter and her husband, Tammy and Dennis Dow; two grandchildren, Logan and Mikayla, all of Sangerville; a brother, Milton Carle Jr. of Abbot; two sisters, Helen Pearl of South Carolina and Evelyn Sudsbury and her husband, Ronald, of Sangerville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Sangerville. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in his memory to a fund that will be used to help a student in the field of forestry. Donations may be sent to Tammy Dow, P.O.
