ALTON W. RIDEOUT SR. BREWER – Alton W. Rideout, 95, husband of the late Levola (Bernard) Ride-out, died Sept. 20, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 24, 1910, in Mattawamkeag, the son of John and Mary Rideout. Al was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and worked as an automobile salesman for many years in the Bangor area until retirement. He is survived by his four children, Patricia Burke and her husband, Thomas, of Orrington, Constance Stees of Colorado, Mary Ann Begin and her husband, Norm, of Gray, and Alton W. Rideout Jr. of Pittston; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years in 1987. Al’s family wishes to acknowledge and thank Dr. Vincent Michaud for his compassion and care over the years and to thank Jack Quirk for his kindness. Services and burial at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor, will be private.
