JOYCE BERNARD PORTAGE and FORT PIERCE, Fla. – Joyce Bernard, 75, died unexpectedly Sept. 4, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Nov. 2, 1929 in Portage Lake, the daughter Herschel and Ida (McNally) Currie. She is survived by her husband, Edward Bernard of Fort Pierce, Fla.; her son, Ted and wife, Judy, of Los Vegas, Nev.; and her daughter, Brenda and husband, Robert Constantine of Fort Pierce, Fla. She is also survived by three sisters, Helen Beaulieu of Ashland, Carolynne MacDonald of Lamoine and Janice Whitesell of Bethlehem, Penn. She is also survived by four grandsons, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Private family services were held Sept. 5 in Holden, with the Rev. Donald Morton Jr. of Masardis officiated. She will be greatly missed by many. <
