PITTSFIELD and BANGOR Alyce Mary Flood, 94, died July 26, 2004, at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born Nov. 10, 1909, in Bangor, a daughter of Frank and Myrtle (White) Clish. She graduated from St. John’s Catholic School in Bangor. Alyce worked at J. J. Newberry’s in Bangor, before moving to Cambridge, Mass., where she worked as a bookkeeper for 50 years. She returned to Maine, locating in Pittsfield in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church, and was a member of Pittsfield Senior Citizens. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Flood of Palmyra; a half brother and his wife, the Rev. Frank and Judy Clish of Old Orchard Beach; grand-daughters, Tracy and husband, Stephen Jones, and Kristin Jones, all of Quincy, Mass; nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visiting hours. A graveside funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the family lot, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Father C. James Martel officiating. The funeral procession will assemble at noon at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main St., (US Route 2 East), Newport.
