MATTAWAMKEAG – Amber S. DuPont, 79, wife of the late Edmond J. DuPont, died March 27, 2005, at a Waterville hospital. She was born April 29, 1925, in St. Francis, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Savage. She was a teacher in Medway for 25 years. She loved education, reading, her grandchildren and her beloved husband Eddie. She is survived by four children, Timothy J. DuPont of Medway, Terrence DuPont of Benton, Susan E. DuPont of Suffield, Conn., and Dennis E. DuPont of Odenton, Md.; four grandchildren, Jaime DuPont, Ian DuPont, Bryony DuPont and Kayla M. DuPont; one sister, Vera Saucier of Hartford, Conn. There will be a family graveside service later in the spring at Mattawamkeag Cemetery.
