HARRINGTON – Angel Luis Vallespi, 24, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, as a result of an injury while working in Hermon. He was born Feb. 7, 1983, in New Bedford, Mass., the son of Rafaela Ortiz of Portland and Luis Roberto Vallespi. Angel attended New Bedford schools in Massachusetts. As a teenager, Angel moved Downeast with his family and enjoyed playing basketball. Most recently he was employed by J.S. Carpentry, Columbia, working as a home improvement specialist. Throughout the years, Angel took pride in his home improvement skills and was very accomplished and particular. He was a loving father, fianc?, son and brother. He had a passion of racing, washing cars and cleaning them. He enjoyed music and dancing. He was an avid collector of model cars. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his Little Princess Kiara, whom he always made laugh. In addition to his mother, family members include his fianc?e, Laurie Seavey; his daughter, Kiara, both of Harrington; his future father-in-law, Robert Seavey; two sisters, Carmen Vallespi and Sully-s Vallespi; maternal grandparents, Rafael Ortiz and Flora Ortiz; paternal grandmother, Judy Vales; several aunts and uncles; and two special nephews, Kelvin and Elizeah Emerson. He is also survived by a special friend, Noel Torres. He was predeceased by a future mother-in-law, Kathy Seavey. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Harrington. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at Brandon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge.
