WESCOSVILLE, Pa. – Ann B. Giamalis, 72, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2005, in her home. She was the beloved wife of George Giamalis. The couple celebrated 48 years of marriage in March. She was born in Brownville Junction, the daughter of the late John Franklin and Margaret Alice (Vickers) Barnes. She was an avid golfer and Ranger at Shepherd Hills Golf Club. She is survived by her husband, George; devoted mother of Sally Giamalis and partner, Keith Heller of Alburtis, Pa., Dee Barebo and husband, Chris, of Emmaus, Pa., Jamie and wife, Jamie Giamalis of Macungie, Pa., and Alicia Eastwood and husband Justin of Baden, Pa.; sister of Peggy Carlin of Massachusetts and Carol Horne of Maine; grandmother of Robyn and Daniel Barebo, Amanda, Sydney and Christian Giamalis, and Evan and Ian Eastwood. She was predeceased by brothers, George and Leslie Barnes.
