EDDINGTON – Ann L. Clow, 66, died June 9, 2005, at her residence surround by her family. She was born Oct. 18, 1938, in the family home in Glenburn, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Stilphen) Quinn. Ann was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. During her husbands 20 years of service to United States Coast Guard she remained committed and contributed many extra hours to her daughters up bring. She was the proud owner and operator of Ann’s Beauty Corner in Southwest Harbor for 10 years. Ann was a member of the officers wife’s club, MDI Lionesses, and the Bangor High School Girls of 56. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening and especially taking care of her family, which was her life’s passion. She is survived by her devoted husband, “Bill” Clow of Eddington; three daughters, Julie and her husband, Rick Jordan, of Waltham, Rebecca Clow of Old Town, Jennifer and her husband, Peter Gott, of Tremont; five grandchildren, Emily, Abby, and Joshua Jordan, Anna Clow, and William Gott. Ann is also survived by six brothers; and four sisters, including a special sister, Sylvia and her husband, Wayne Harper, of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews; and a mother-in-law, Barbara Herrick of Brewer. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one sister, Mabel. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Brooking-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Adam Soderberg, pastor of East Orrington Congregational Church, officiating. Friends may call from noon until time of service. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery, Eddington. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments to the family’s residence, 21 Comins Lane, Eddington, following the services.
