BANGOR – Dora Ann (Burke) Connolly, wife of the late Dr. Arthur Connolly, passed away June 10, 2005, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born March 9, 1907, in East Hampden, the daughter of Joseph M. and Etta M. (Worden) Burke. Dora was a graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 1925, and a graduate of Grace Hospital School of Nursing, New Haven, Conn. Dora was a registered nurse and had lived and worked in Colorado for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Connolly, M.D. Dora is survived by her son, Arthur Connolly of Colorado; a sister, Etta M. Porter of Bangor; a brother, Albert Burke and his wife, Ada, of Hermon; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Allison, Dan, Dru and Caitlyn; nieces and nephews, including a special nephew and his wife, Joseph and Kathleen Porter of Hampden.
