LINCOLN – Anna M. Owen, 61, died March 3, 2006, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1944, in East Millinocket, the daughter of Josephel and Alma (LaPlante) Lizotte. Anna was a devoted church member. She played guitar and sang in the choir. She provided music for Sacred Heart Church in Winn for 10 years. She is survived by four children, Shirley McFarland of Newport, James Owen of Lee, Gerald Owen of Santa Rosa, Calif. and Michael Owen of Bar Harbor; one brother, George Lizotte of Warren; one sister, Yvonne Vince of Florida; and four grandchildren, Lara, Elizabeth, Justin and Jordan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Myles Cyr, officiating. Spring interment will be in East Millinocket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetes Association, 163 Lancaster St., Suite 98 R, Portland, ME 04101.
