ENFIELD – Margaret A. Hodsdon, 75, wife of David R. Hodsdon, died March 2, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Everett and Winifred (Bailey) Hislar. Margaret loved playing piano. She enjoyed needlework and sewing and was known by all for her wonderful cooking. She was an active member of the Helping Hearts Ladies Group at Enfield Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by a son, David W. Hodsdon; a daughter, Janet M. Johnson; a brother, Tom L. Hislar; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Neilson, officiating.
