FRENCHVILLE – Anna Roy, 87, died May 6, 2005, at a Frenchville Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 28, 1918, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Adolphe and Gertie (Marquis) Cyr. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella of Madawaska and the Ladies of St. Anne of Frenchville. She is survived by four sons and their wives, Clarence and Betty, Roger and Rachel, Gerald and Edwina and Ronald and Barbara, all of Frenchville; two daughters, Joan and her husband, Alton Blier of Fort Kent, Nancy and her husband, Claude Dube of Frenchville; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Morin of Limestone, Lucienne Michaud of Hartford, Conn. and Yvette Pelletier of Hartford, Conn. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo J. Roy in 2002; three brothers, Octave Cyr, Lucien Cyr and Henri Cyr; two sisters, Marie Daigle and Annie Cote. Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Luce Catholic Church, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be in the St. Luce Cemetery.
