HOWLAND – Annette A. (Weymouth) Faloon, 69, wife of Gerald D. Faloon, went home to be with the Lord, July 30, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Dresden, the daughter of Ancil and Agnes (Smith) Weymouth. Annette was employed at Dexter Shoe, Milo, for 13 years. She then retired and cared for her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Annette enjoyed doll collecting and was very proud and anxious to show her collection to family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed puzzling, gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gerald D. Faloon; three daughters, Terry Crocker and her friend, Kevin, of Milo, Linda Grinnell and her husband, Mike, of Milo, and Carol Dawson and her husband, Dwight, of Howland; and son, Glenn Faloon and his wife, Julie, of Howland. She had 13 grandchildren, Troy Crocker, Nicholas Faloon, Jessica (Faloon) Dawson, Rachael (Dawson) Hallett, Sarah Dawson, Ashley Dawson, Dustin Grinnell, Derek Dawson, Drew Bellatty, Lucas Grinnell, Lauryn Bellatty, Jerry Faloon, and Matthew Faloon; three sisters, Harriet Cheek of Skowhegan, Irene Cole and her husband, Frank, of Gardiner, and Barbara Jackson of Winthrop; two brothers, Ralph Weymouth and his wife, Edith, of Randolph, and Leon Weymouth of Gardiner; a special niece, Janice Vintinner of Richmond; sister-in-law, Beryl Goslin and her husband, Kenneth, of Enfield; 35 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Jerry “Jed” Faloon of Howland; two sisters, Jeanette Howard and Myrtle Smith; and two brothers, Everett and Medville Weymouth. Graveside services for family and her close friends will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Howland Cemetery with Pastor Whitfield Curtis officiating.
