MEDWAY – Annette M. Misiura, 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Portage, the daughter of Frederick and Albertine (Boutot) Thibodeau. Annette was a career hostess and waitress in several local restaurants. She worked as a volunteer in several capacities including the Medway Clothing Bank and the Medway DAV. She loved to cook and play beano. In her younger years while she was living in Bridgeport, Conn., she enjoyed singing on radio with a local group, Annie and the Cowgirls. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Most of all, Annette was a true and trusted friend. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Peter J. Misiura Sr. of Medway; three children, Jacqueline and her husband, Ronald Dart, of Wayland, Mass., Sharon and her husband, Alan Wheel, of Levant, Peter Misiura Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Medway; five grandchildren, Paul Putnam, Erica Dart, Peter Misiura III, Mark Misiura and Hayley Cannon; three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Logan, Elliot; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Strang; a granddaughter, Tara Putnam; and by a brother, Clarence Thibodeau. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket, where the Daughters of Isabella will recite a Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Millinocket.
