LUBEC – Annie M. Murray, 80, died May 13, 2004, at the Oceanview Nursing Home in Lubec after a long illness. Annie was born Dec. 27, 1923, at Lubec, the daughter of Thomas L. and Laura (Kelley) Quirk. Annie was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed music and shared this with her family. She belonged to the Sacred Heart Church in Lubec, and sang in the choir when she was young. Annie was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Elizabeth Dineen of Biddeford; her husband of many years, Roger R. Murray. She is survived by a brother, James (Buddy) Quirk; and her three sons, Richard Murray, Leo Murray and David Murray, all of Lubec; and her many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service 2 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, at Split Hill Cemetery, West Lubec, with Patricia Phillips, Parish Coordinator, officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias.
