GREEN LAKE and ELLSWORTH – Arbine l. Gardner, born April 8, 1929, in Franklin, daughter of Carolyn and Leamon Jordan, died Feb. 6, 2008. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is survived by her devoted husband of more than 60 years, William Gardner; one sister, Hildred Jordan of Waltham; four children, Judy Robinson of Marshfield, Beverly Mace and husband, Brian, of Howland, William Gardner and wife, Ellen, of Howland and Daniel Gardner and wife, Jill, of East Machias. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stacie and husband, Jeff, Brian and wife, Angeline, Mark and wife, Gretchen, Matthew and fianc?e, Lyisa, Jamie, Charlie, Lisa and husband, Randy, DeAnne and husband James and Shelly. Arbine will live on in memory through her great-grandchildren, Lauryn, Jordan, Kacey, Zack, Daniel, Christopher, Kandi, Morgan, Nicole and Danielle; and two great-great-grandchildren, John and Russell. She also leaves behind many wonderful nieces, nephews, friends; and special friends, Lloyd and Emma Curtis. At her request, there will be no funeral. Arrangements have been made by Direct Cremation of Belfast.
