EAST MARIAVILLE and BANGOR – Arlene Etta Worster, 79, wife of the late Philip Worster died Dec. 21, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Kingman, the daughter of Joseph and Luddie Worster. Arlene was employed as a nurses aide at Collier’s Nursing Home in Ellsworth for several years. She was a devoted wife for 54 years, a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, fishing, camping and was known for being a wonderful cook and homemaker. Survivors include four daughters and one son, Norma Dremsa and husband, Donald, of Arundle, Elaine Pittelli and husband, Robert, of Fairfax, Va., Frances Jordan and husband, Richard Sr. of Osborn, Wanda Morin and husband, Robert, of Bennington, Vt., Ricky Worster of East Mariaville; five brothers, four sisters, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Philip Jr.; and two daughters, Dollene Simon and Marcia Urquhart; three brothers, Donald, Arnold and Harold. Relatives and friends may call 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, with Pastor Matthew Ward officiating. Interment will be in the Osborn Cemetery, Route 179, Aurora.
