DEXTER and GUILFORD Arlene S. Kirk, 88, died March 3, 2007, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born July 10, 1918, in Guilford, daughter of Terry and Hattie (Waugh) Adams. Arlene worked for many years at Guilford Woolen Mill, Guilford. She was a former member of the North Guilford Grange and the Guilford Senior Citizens. She is survived by three stepsons, Milton Kirk and his wife, Frances, of Pittsfield, Dalton Kirk and his wife, Joanne, of Corinna, and Harlan Kirk of Dexter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Joan Kirk of Windham. She was predeceased by her husband, James Kirk; two sons, Norman and Ronald; a stepson, Mahlon Kirk; a brother, Birchard Adams; and a sister, Maxine Gordon. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
