NORTH NEWPORT and EXETER – Arnold Lee McDonald, 86, formerly of Route 222, North Newport, died Dec. 5, 2003, at a Dexter healthcare facility. He was born Feb. 28, 1917, a son of Eugene and Sadie (Scott) McDonald. Arnold was employed as a lumberjack and also had worked at area woolen mills. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia; his brothers, Frederick and Linwood; as well as his sisters, Irene Maskell, Albine Godsoe and Lera Gould. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. A spring graveside committal service will be held at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna, with Dalton Dunphey officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna.
