MADAWASKA – Arthur “Arthy” Pelletier, 93, passed away Oct. 10, 2006, at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born Jan. 20, 1913, in Madawaska, the son of Joe M. and Adeline (Chasse) Pelletier. Arthy is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Blanche Levesque Pelletier; four sons, Donald Pelletier of Madawaska, James Pelletier and his wife, Lisa, of Southington, Conn., Harold Pelletier and his wife, Cheryl, of Madawaska and Ronald G. Pelletier and his special friend, Angel, of Grand Isle; three daughters, Theresa Gervais and her husband, Alcide, of St. David, Mildred Bishop and her husband, Mack, of Alexandria, Va., and Madeline Sanborn and her husband, Edgar, of Madawaska; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Germaine Pelletier; four brothers, Edmund Pelletier, Jeremie Pelletier, Louis Pelletier, Joseph Leonard Pelletier; and three sisters, Priscille Daigle, Jeannette Thibeault, Wellena Pelletier. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and relatives may call 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home.
