LINCOLN – Arthur P. Millett, 78, died Feb. 21, 2004, at his home. He was born Feb. 13, 1926, in Lincoln, the son of Arthur W. and Helena (Mulheron) Millett. He is survived by a son, Gerald Millett and his wife, Gladys, of Enfield; a daughter, Emily Barker and her husband, Bruce Sr., of Lincoln; two sisters, Avis Wise of Howland, and Molly Wiswell of Orrington; five grandchildren, Bruce Barker Jr., Jonathan Barker, Shaughn Millett, Rebecca Tardif and Heather Millett; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Gerald A. Millett. Friends may call from 3-4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Bruce Young officiating. Spring interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary’s Food Cupboard or a charity of choice. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
