EASTPORT – Aubrey R. Jollotta, 81, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at an Eastport nursing home. Aubrey was born May 15, 1926, in Eastport, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (McGarvey) Jollotta. He was employed for Guilford Industries for more than 30 years as a supervisor for shipping and receiving, retiring in 1971. Aubrey married Flossie Harris, Oct. 23, 1965, in Eastport. He was a member of the Knights of Pythians and enjoyed going for car rides, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Aubrey was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (Finch) Jollotta; two sisters, Frances Mitchell and Marie Brackett; and three brothers, Harold, Paul and Stanley Jollotta. Surviving are his wife of more than 42 years, Flossie; four children, James Jollotta and his wife, Debra, of Winslow, Barbara Pulk of Pembroke, Dale Jollotta and his wife, Patricia, of Connecticut, and David Jollotta of Eastport; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Mays Funeral Home-Flagg Chapel, 72 High St., Eastport. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
