PRINCETON – Aurelia M. Gould, 90, died Dec. 20, 2005, at her home in Princeton. She was born Nov. 9, 1915, at Grand Lake Stream, the daughter of Harvey and Helen (Smith) Kneeland. Aurelia was a long-time member of the Princeton Congregational Church, where she served as secretary, treasurer and president of the Sunshine Circle. In addition she served as superintendent of the Sunday school for several years, as well as serving as the leader of the church’s youth group. Aurelia was also a deaconess at the Congregational Church for many years. She also belonged to the senior citizens and the Princeton Woman’s Club. Most importantly she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William; two sisters, Vera McCann and Ada Butler; one brother, Royce Kneeland; and a granddaughter, Heather Roberts. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Roberts of Bangor; her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Randy Rolfe of Winthrop; five grandchildren, Richard Grant, Gerry Grant, Dale Grant, Terrie Lyn Roberts, Amy Ryan and Richard’s friend, Dwayne Shannon. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Thursday, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the Princeton Congregational Church, Princeton, with Pastor Dana Kadey. Burial will take place in the spring at Princeton Cemetery.
