BREWER – Barbara Ann (Timon) Walsh, 70, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family, March 4, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 29, 1935, in Bangor, a daughter of Dennis James Timon and Esther Maude (Montgomery) Timon Downes. She was known as “Nana of Brewer” and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her two daughters, Victoria Walsh Kelly of Brewer, Deborah Walsh Fayne and her husband, Adam, of Massachusetts; two sons, Charles Walsh and his fiance, Liz Gallagher and family of Brewer, James Michael Walsh and wife, Lucretia and family of Bangor; six grandchildren, Crystal Kelly, Sherry Bedard, David Kelly II and his companion, Shannon, of Bangor, Noah, Jordan and Wyatt Fayne of Massachusetts; five great-grandchildren, Devin and Corey Bedard of Brewer, Ashley, D.J. and Brittany of Bangor; two siblings, Reginald Timon and wife, Margaret, of Kansas, Gerald Timon and wife, Jean, of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Walsh in 1990; her parents; seven siblings, Patricia Hamlin of Glenburn, Janet Philbrick of Glenburn, Margaret Green of Arizona, Pauline Timon of Bangor, Robert Timon of Hampden, Richard Timon of Carmel, James Timon of Bangor; and her son-in-law, David Kelly of Brewer. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Paul Warf, officiating. Private interment will be in the Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
