MONTICELLO – Barbara Elaine Briggs, 67, died Nov. 30, 2007, at her home. She was born May 23, 1940, the daughter of Ralph and Ethel (Thornton) Miller. She was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church, Littleton. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frank Briggs of Monticello; three daughters, Judy Briggs of Holden, Pamela and her hsuband, David Nickerson, of Houlton and Heather and her husband, Tom Hutchinson, of Hampden; seven grandchildren, Heather Bartlett, Nicholas Wiggins, Jonathan Wiggins, Ryan Nickerson, Olivia Nickerson, T.J. Hutchingson and Abigail Hutchinson; four great-grandchildren, Ariel and T.J. Farrar, Noah Bartlett and Annabelle Wiggins; one brother, Ralph Miller; and one sister, Ruth Graham, both of Woodstock, New Brunswick; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; one daughter, Kimberly; and one sister, Muriel Caron. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Corner Stone Baptist Church, Littleton, with the Rev. Chester Ammons. Interment will be held at Foster Cemetery, Monticello.
