DANFORTH – Barbara M. Cropley, 74, died Dec. 16, 2006, in Houlton. She was born March 11, 1932, in Danforth, the daughter of Wesley and Geneva (Young) Cropley. She is survived by one daughter, Delores “Dolly” Gilman of Danforth; two grandchildren, Ryan and his wife, Ali Gilman and their children, Andrew and Ryleigh and Becky Gilman; six brothers and sisters, Violet and her husband, Jud Frye, James and his wife, Glenna Cropley, Glenna and her husband, John Crone, Veronica and her husband, Robert Crone, all of Danforth, Franklin and his wife, Margrete Cropley, of Braintree, Mass., Sheila and her husband, Arnold Estabrook, of Amity; two sisters-in-law, Una Cropley and Evelyn Kinney, both of Danforth; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a special niece, Susan Frye. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Tommy Young, Fred and Glenn Cropley; two sisters, Marie Kraultler and Anita Barnes; and also her life companion, Primo Bacchiochi. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Danforth Pentecostal Church with Pastor Robert Root officiating. A time of fellowship will be held after at the Robert McKinnon Building.
