HOULTON – LeRoy J. Cunliffe, 91, died Dec. 15, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1914, in New Limerick, the son of William and Eva (Fanjoy) Cunliffe. LeRoy was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church and was a lifetime area farmer. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Carroll of Houlton; one brother, Waldo Cunliffe of Houlton; five grandchildren, Gregory, James, Joseph, Tina and Kelly; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Martha (Watson) Cunliffe; son-in-law, Paul F. Carroll; six brothers and five sisters. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church with the Rev. Eddie Morin, celebrant. A time of fellowship will take place in the church hall after Mass. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A service of Dunn Funeral Home.
