GLENBURN – Barbara M. Morneault, 72, passed away Thursday Aug. 23, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Lagrange, the daughter of Algie A. and Myla D. (Dyer) Treadwell. Although family was always Barbara’s first priority, she was also an avid sports fan, an accomplished quilter and gardener who had a great fondness for animals, birds, reading and any kind of puzzle. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her husband, Llewellyn Morneault of Glenburn; a daughter, Linda Kenney and her husband, Frederic, of Glenburn and their sons, Shaun and Marc; a daughter, Julie Russell of Oakland, Calif.; a son, Barry Russell and his wife, Rena, of Oak Park, Ill., and their children, Vaughn, Simone and Amit; a daughter, LuAnn Ballesteros and her husband, Michael, of Glenburn and their children, Shyla, Amie, Corey, Audra and Gavin Williams and Samantha Ballesteros; a son, Rodney Morneault and his wife, Stacey, of Orrington and their children, Nicolle, Karra and Joshua; a daughter, Rene? Foster and her husband, Robert, of Hampden and their children, Jake, Katie, Ben and Isaac; a son, Tony Morneault of Kernersville, N.C.; her mother, Myla Treadwell of Glenburn; a sister, Jean Makela and husband, Arnold, of Green Valley, Ariz.; a brother, Ralph Treadwell and his wife, Joyce, of Woodland; a sister, Charlene Cox and husband, Rufus, of New Sharon; a brother, Hollis Treadwell and wife, Rebecca, of Aptos, Calif.; a brother, Randy Treadwell and wife, Debra, of Virginia Beach, Va.; an uncle, Marcel Dyer; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Algie Treadwell; and her first husband, Vaughn N. Russell. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends for conversation and refreshments after the service at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor.
