LIMESTONE – Beatrice A. Patten, 89, passed away Sunday, Aug., 5, 2007, at a Windham health care facility. She was born Jan. 8, 1918, in Johnsville, New Brunswick, the daughter of Aloysuis and Elizabeth (Murphy) Riley. Beatrice was a longtime communicant of St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. She also worked for 17 years in the Limestone school system in the cafeteria. Beatrice enjoyed crocheting, quilting and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Stephen Patten and his fianc?e, Brenda, of Hollis; two sisters, Marcella Lee and Gertrude Fraser, both of South Portland; two daughters-in-law, Sharon Patten and Rachel Patten, both of Limestone; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Beecher; and three sons, David, Jeffrey and Robert. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone, with the Rev. L. Chanel Cyr, celebrant. Interment will take place after the service at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Limestone.
