LINCOLN – Beatrice E. Daigle, 75, died Feb. 15, 2006, at a Lincoln hospital, after a long, courageous battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She was born July 6, 1930, in Woodville, the daughter of Maurice L. Jordan Sr. and Hattie (Ireland) Jordan. Beatrice was a loving mother and was devoted to her family. She loved her doll collection and bear collection and enjoyed cooking. She is survived by two children, Diane Etchie and her husband, Gene, of Lincoln and their daughter, Michelle DeSantis and her husband, Anthony, of Andover, Mass.; and David Daigle and his wife, Sandi and their son, Benjamin, all of Windham; the father of her children, William Daigle of South Paris; one sister, Violet LePage of Brewer; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Marjorie Powers; and one brother, Maurice Jordan Jr. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve McNally, officiating. Spring interment will be in South Chester Cemetery.
