WINDHAM – Beda M. Bickford, 99, formerly of Wood Road, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Ledgewood Manor. Born Jan. 25, 1906, in Monson, she was the daughter of Charles and Petranella (Johnson) Erickson and educated in local schools. She enjoyed knitting, cooking crossword puzzles and especially spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse L. Bickford; and a daughter, Lillian Beckwith. Surviving are one son, Theron Bickford Sr. of Windham; one daughter, Sandra Paquet of North Waterboro; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
