BELFAST – Bernest A. York Sr., 90, passed away March 10, 2005, at Tall Pines Rehabilitation Center, in Belfast. He was predeceased by a son, Bernest “Buzzy” York Jr. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lillian (Walker) York; three daughters, Florence Yeaton and her husband, Richard, of Belfast, Charline Hurd and her husband, Howard, of Morrill, and Maxine Smirles, of Somersworth, N.H.; two sons, David York of Cheverly, Md., and Harold York, of Belfast; one sister, Henrietta Valley of Lakeland, Fla.; and one brother, Burton York of Belfast; and over 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast, where the funeral will be held 1p.m. Monday, March 14.
