SWANVILLE and MESQUITE, Nev. – Beulah Jean “B.J.” Bialota, 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, in her sleep, at her home in Mesquite, Nev. She was born Oct. 16, 1931, in Akron, Pa., to Clarence Theodore and Florence Marie Kemp Gegan. In 1952 she married Robert Edward Bialota in Trenton, N.J. He predeceased her, April 29, 1974. Beulah grew up in Pennsylvania. She raised her family in Trenton, N.J., and Swanville, while working at Penobscot Poultry. After her husband died she moved to Dover, Del., where she worked for Playtex for 21 years. She then returned to Maine and worked at Duck Trap River Fish Farm. Five months ago she moved to Mesquite, Nev., to be near her sisters. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She had a wonderful large collection of dragons, enjoyed quilting, sewing, jigsaw puzzles and reading Sci-Fi. Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Robert Bialota and his wife, Dianne, of Swanville, James Bialota and his wife, Alberta, of Waldo, Deborah and her husband, Dale Sullivan-Alley, of Palmyra, Gregory T. Bialota of Searsport and Michelle and her husband, Corey Orvis, of Felton, Del.; seven grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Jacqueline and husband, Charlie Ott, of Mesquite, Nev., Theresa Lebo of Mesquite, Nev., and Thomas Gegan and wife, Shirley, of Traumbersville, Pa. Private family services will be held in Trenton, N.J. Her ashes will be interred at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Any donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
